AUBURN SANDHILL WATER POLLUTION

CONTROL FACILITY - TERRAIN ACTIVATION

By immersing our senses in the landscape, we can really know what the landscape is talking about. It is an invisible and intangible language that is already there and also it is in continuous change. The acknowledgment of the opportunities, strengths and weaknesses that the landscape has inside itself allow us to understand the different pre-existing conditions of a terrain, likewise, the identity that it has. This is what gives us the tool to start designing certain determinants and conditions that are also going to change the trajectory of the land over time. Therefore, the transitions we determine as landscape architects will affect directly the features of the land, in addition to its flora, fauna and of course, to the visual and sensorial aspects that are not only conceived for humans but also for an entire ecosystem.
