MENTION OF HONOR/TOP 15 LATIN AMERICA
This is a project in which the feeling of unity and solidarity was raised through strengthening the public spaces that foster the exchanges of creative community experiences. The innovative character of the project is based on a reciprocal relationship between sustainable environmental material construction and the intangible wealth of the inhabitants of Pescaito (values, traditions, culture). In order to make an integral urban construction aimed at collective development, the active participation of the entire community was incorporated.

The urban solution foresees an impact on the economic, social and cultural conditions of "Pescaito" neighborhood as well as its integration with Santa Marta's city. In terms of housing, the propose provides 1112 new house's unities, accompanied by a system where fundamentally the women will access to a entrepreneurship and training space. Regard of public space, its proposed to reach a quantity of 179,968 m2 destined for urban pedagogy and social cohesion.
